Actually, there is one defining characteristic-one thing that you can tell for sure [besides lightning of course], at least as it was originally intended by Toriyama-sensei, that Gohan is SSjin 2 and not SSjin: the lower hair on the back of his head... if it is spiked up, he is SSjin 2. This was shown during the 25th Budokai when Gohan turned SSjin 2. His hair spiking up in the back was a result of his transformation. Look on the sketch page provided. You can see the difference there between SSjin Gohan and SSjin 2 Gohan.

Yes but there are FAR more differences to ssj2 and ssj3 then people think. And they are; Paler skin, More jagged aura, angry pissed look and spikier more numerous hair. This was actually even proven by a couple of guys on neoseeker(which i no longer go to). So yeah. Go te here: http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/88/t1607367-could-broly-destroy-kid-buu/24.htm Oh. And read the other couple of page's as well as an fyi. See what i mean now? Edited by crimsondarkness, Jan 21 2012, 08:57 PM.

Well usually when a Saiyan has to turn SSjin 2 or 3 it's for a psycho-level battle. You aren't going to see much smiling, lol. You may have a point about the pale skin though. That seems to be true. And it shows in Movie 10 for SSjin 2 Gohan. |

I don't think their skin actually gets lighter, I think the aura just gets brighter and more intense with each transformation, causing the skin to LOOK more pale. Hell, for all we know, their skin could have a slight glow in that form. |

I actually do think they get paler, at least in SSjin 2. Goku doesn't seem to have the pale skin in SSjin 3. |

LSSJ is a different form. The fact that it erupts from his flesh should be more than enough evidence. And, no he is not abnormally bulked up. That's ussj2 trunks. Broly's body is proportionate to his size. Edited by Blade007, Jan 30 2012, 01:26 PM.

Back to original topic: Broly has a form known as LSSJ, or "Legendary Super Saiyan". That is the name for it. If Goku transforms into a Great Ape, you can scream, "That's not the Great Ape! It's a rip off of a gorilla I saw! I'm just going to call it the Large Gorilla from now on, because the REAL great ape is obviously Bardock!", but its not going to change it.
Awesome. I hate Jersey Shore but they haven't cancelled it yet.
Sure, I believe this random statement you have given me without any facts to back it up.
Have fun convincing the entire thread to use these terms.
Legendary≠Unbeatable You are saying that just because he was defeated, he was not legendary. That's like saying Kid Buu wasn't evil because Goku killed him.
Legendary is an adjective he used to describe them. Legendary Super Saiyan is a transformation achieved only by Broly. using legendary to describe a saiyan≠calling them a Legendary Super Saiyan Yes, he said Broly was unbeatable, and this is not true. Does this really mean Vegeta can't be relied upon? Goku once said that Buu was much too strong for him to beat. He was beaten anyway. Therefore, Goku cannot be relied upon. Countless other characters have stated that the villain could not be beaten. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure almost every character in DBZ said something along the lines of, "He's so strong, we can't beat him!". (Spoiler alert: every major villain in DBZ is beaten)
How exactly is it an inaccurate term? It is: 1.) Stated in the title of the movie itself 2.) Used by Toei 3.) Used in the Daizenshuu Yes, it is Broly's title. And by "the buff form", what exactly do you mean? The only form referred to as LSSJ is Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan form in which he has lime green hair and no pupils or iris. If other people call this "buff form" that you speak of the LSSJ, they are likely wrong and you should not take example from them. And the last part of your post, I've no idea what you're talking about, so I'll just leave it at that. Edited by Nimbo-Bimbo lord of all noobs, Feb 3 2012, 02:03 AM.
